How can you switch schools without your parents permission at age 17?

My parents and I do not get along and even going out for help at the counselor. My boyfriend and i have been dating for two years and when i turn 17 i plan on moving out with him, but that would require switching schools with a parents permission. Is there some law where i don't need their consent to switch schools? How can you switch schools without your parents permission at age 17?
Sure. You can become an emancipated minor. Call your state courthouse to find out how. The bad part about doing that is that your parents will no longer be legally or financially responsible for you. That means you will have to pay for everything and anything that you need or want. That includes rent, utilities, food, clothing, computer, internet, cable tv, school supplies, gas, car, health insurance, auto insurance, medical bills, dental bills, etc..... It also means any legal trouble you may get in to, you will be considered an adult. It's not as easy as it sounds to be on your own, even with the acknowledgment that living at home isn't easy. Rather than going out on your own, my suggestion would be to get a part time job to keep yourself busy and away from home as much as possible, of course, making sure you have plenty of time available for school work, which could be accomplished at the local library or a friend's house. I know you don't want to hear this, but unless there is abuse involved, your best bet is to stay home.
