Parents, What are some of your creative ways to save more money?

I just finished my work for the day, and I am relaxing. So I was wondering what are your creative ways to save more money. I would like to hear what you have to say. Please be tactful with your answers. Thanks.Parents, What are some of your creative ways to save more money?
We live very simply here - no frills, no extras, and we're happy that way. We manage on a pretty modest income. I'll give you a few tips. Be aware that these aren't for everyone, so you can use what you like and leave the rest.

~ We rarely eat out. I make a lot of meals at home. You can make your food budget stretch further by using a lot of beans, rice, pasta, and potatoes, and you can try having a couple nights a week where you have a meatless dinner.

~ I use cloth diapers. This option isn't for everyone, but it's worked out great for us. We've saved so much money this way. Check out http://www.diaperpin.com if you're interested. There's a lot of info there.

~ I use natural household cleaners, like vinegar, baking soda, tea tree oil, lemon juice, borax, and very rarely, bleach. These are great cleaners, and they don't have harsh disinfectants that are shown to do more harm than good. Here's a list of homemade cleaner recipes: http://tipnut.com/category/cleaning/clea鈥?/a>

~ I make my own powdered laundry detergent. This saves so much money. Here's some recipes: http://tipnut.com/10-homemade-laundry-so鈥?/a>

~ I make my own toothpaste: http://thriftysoaper.blogspot.com/2009/0鈥?/a>

~ I make my own handsoap: http://tipnut.com/homemade-liquid-soap/

~ We don't have cable TV or a dish. We just watch free network TV and some shows online.

~ We watch movies at home with Netflix, or we go to the Redbox or DVDxpress at the store. We'll pop our own popcorn and make an evening out of it.

~ We buy or receive a lot of clothing and baby stuff second hand.

~ We make coffee at home instead of buying it at coffee shops. We have the occasional latte on the run, but we do our best to make coffee before leaving the house and bring it with us in a thermos.

well as far as saving money ive become pretty good at. Like I will make foods go a lot further. I cook everything nothing frozen. Left overs i tend to give to our dog (if they are healthy for him) If we are eating something bland and baby safe ill let my son have some. hes 6 months old. I also instead of buying all the name brands buy great value/ As far as hobbys on the other hand I really like video games %26gt;%26lt; so i play runescape lmao.
I enjoy scrapbooking and drawing with marker. So with my extra supplies I have been making cards to sell here: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=773鈥?/a>

Then I can buy new supplies for my scrapbook. It makes for cheaply spent freetime :)
