What would the puppies of two cockapoo parents turn out like?

Ive been offererd a puppy (there not born yet) of a cockapoo both parents are cockapoos but would the puppy be also a cockapoo or would some be poodles and some be spaniels? Like a human each parent passes on 50% of there dna so could you have a mixuture of poodles, spaniels and cockapoos? I know it may sound confusing.

But thanks for any help given. What would the puppies of two cockapoo parents turn out like?
No they would be cockerpoos, although some pups may look different to the others for instance some might have different coats or be different colours, because at the end of the day they are cross breeds and no 2 crossbreeds are the same. They will defiantly all be cockerpoos though.Good luck. What would the puppies of two cockapoo parents turn out like?
Really...any puppy is cute arent they?
Mutts are OK but should be spayed or neutered.

There is a lot more be sides 50% of genes. What about recessive genes? These are negative traits. What about the parentage of the mom and pop? What will be the product of the breeding? No clue? That is what a pedigree paper is for. You look at the positive traits and the negative traits and pick a dog/***** that will not pass on negative traits.

I have been happy with mutts but every single dog I get, no matter the breed, gets spayed or neutered by the age of 4 to 5 months of age. They make good pets but to propagate all the negative traits is a chance I WILL NOT contribute to.
it depends on a few factors, such as the paternity and maternity lines. if the last few generations to the two dogs who were breed were cockapoo, then it is highly unlikely the puppies will be anything but cockapoo. if the two dogs who were breed had parents or grandparents who were a cocker spaniel and a poodle, it is possible that a puppy or two could recieve those recessive traits and look mostly cocker or poodle, but it won't be a full-bred. it will still be considered a cockapoo, but it may have short coarse curly fur, or medium shaggy fur, something slighty different from the other pups that makes them look like the original breed. it is unlikely but possible to have a cockapoo look like a poodle or cockerspaniel. if you want a cockapoo, i suggest you tell the breeder to reserve you a puppy without payment, and wait to see what they look like. if you don't have a preference, then go ahead and reserve one before those cute puppies are all gone! good luck to you!
if the cockapoo blood line goes back far enough the the puppies will be cockapoos, they will that the same looks as their parents grandparents,eyc.etc. and they will be cockapoos. it will great having a puppy to love. good luck
They are adorible. Really small and curly haired, and good natured.
I will probably get a few thumbs down for this response, oh well.

Mutts are great. I love mutts. You will have a mutt. You can cross breeds however you choose but unless I am wrong you can never register those pups as a cocker spaniel, poodle or cockapoo.

Your best bet to knowing what these pups will be like is to see the parents. You could have nearly any combination of these breeds. You must add that unpredictability to the natural unpredictability of any pup.

I will let those who know more about breeding answer this question more. Really though mutt or pure bred or cross bred they are great, eh?
Cockapoo! It's anyone's guess what they each will look like. Some may get more of one mix than the other and vice versus.

They should all be cute and cuddly though!
a cockapoo is a mutt.. your pup would be a mutt

poodles are actual breeds

cocker spanials are actual breeds

cockapoo is NOT a breed so ';Like a human each parent passes on 50% of there dna so could you have a mixuture of poodles, spaniels and cockapoos'; is incorrect - since there is no such thing as a cockapoo.

great that you were ';offered'; a pup - DO NOT PAY A CENT unless its vaccinated, dewormed, and vet checked - and even then you shouldnt pay much more than the cost of that work.

since this dog is a second generation mutt its value is extremely low. it may look more poodle like or may look more cocker like, but its still and always will be a mutt

SHAME on the people who bred the parents.. mutts should always be spayed or neutered
It will look like a cockapoo
Little puppy poos? Just kidding

Best bet according to the breeders, you would have cockapoos. However, there is a chance (a remote one) you could very well get one which may resemble poodles (if the genetics are not bred for change. This would depend on the parents lineage) If the parents were in-line bread or not. In short, if the parents were both born of cockapoos you 95% chance the puppies will be cockapoos. However if both parents come from a mix, you could have a 50% chance one or more will either resemble more of a poodle and or a Spaniel.
I wouldn't touch any designer dog....the health problems to follow are scary and expensive.

With cross breeding dogs, they don't breed true, what that means is you can't predict what they will look like exactly.
Homeless? Sick? Unmanageable?
